What is Akaushi? Akaushi is a Japanese term for a type of cattle. It is defined as "red cow" in Japanese. The Akaushi breed yield one-of-a-kind meat that is far beyond its competitor. In the nineties, a group of Texas ranchers using a legal loophole to bring them from Japan into the US, breeding them, and keep them purebred. And today we have the American Wagyu Akaushi, raised in Texas.
Pho Akaushi adopted the name from the meat that we are using, re-engineered the pho cooking process. In short: the Akaushi Story is Vietnamese noodles soup, with Japanese beef, raised in Texas and engineered by Pho Akaushi.
